    Melody in Motion: A Gallery of Music's Most Memorable Performances

    2025 RCAC Accordion Camp Summary.

     June 1-6, 2025 at Collins Retreat Center, Eagle Creek, OR. 

    Susan Schwab, Camp Director, gave a summary of the 2025 camp.  


    • 31 accordionist/orchestra members

    • 8 cancellations

    • 4 instructors/conductors: Joe Natoli, Gail Campanella, Courtney von Drehle and Toby Hanson

    • Open play every night (Sunday - Wednesday) after music circle

    • 50/50 raffle and prizes

    • Wednesday was accordion tee shirt day

    • Bumperstickers, key chains and a swag were given out to campers

    • Thursday night was concert night; Willamette Falls studio recorded it;

    • After party (concert night) was a blast! “Stump Toby” was played—Susan found a song he didn’t know; great snacks, wine, sodas, dancing and singing.

    • Attendees were from: Oregon: Portland, Astoria, Roseburg, Beaverton, Canby, Stayton, Mt. Angel, Salem. Washington: Vancouver, Westport, Seattle, Washougal and Kennewick. California: Santa Barbara, Clovis, Folsom, Alpine, Malibu, Cupertino. Ohio.  

    • Next year: May 31-June 5, 2026: Joe Natoli and Gail Campanella (conductors) and Toby Hanson. There will be another instructor TBA
